Introducing Dr Piers Clifford, a highly regarded Consultant Cardiologist with an impressive career spanning over 35 years.
Dr Clifford has extensive expertise in atrial fibrillation, cardiac rehabilitation, heart failure, hypertension, inherited cardiomyopathies, interventional cardiology and syncope.
As Clinical Lead for Cardiology and Chairman of the Division of Medicine at Wycombe Hospital, Dr Clifford has developed highly successful angioplasty and investigative units, performing more than 350 coronary angioplasty procedures each year.
Dr Clifford also consults at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Hammersmith Campus, where he is the Research Lead for clinical trials.
With an active research interest in molecular cardiology and coronary intervention, Dr Clifford is the Principal Investigator in 15 clinical trials.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Clifford is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London and is widely published in peer-reviewed journals.
